About Us

Anmida was founded in 2008 by husband and wife, Andre and Misty Beier, who live in the city of Dania Beach just outside of Fort Lauderale, Florida. Andre and Misty both share a passion of reaping awards from hard work, dedication and perfection of web-based applications.

Andre Beier

Since the age of 9, Andre has always been working with computers. Starting out with a Commodore 64 he slowly moved up to his first PC. When the Internet revolution started in the late 1990's he immediately jumped on the wagon to become a Web Developer. He now has more than 10 years of experience, having done everything from simple HTML coding to complex database-driven e-commerce systems. He has worked with many companies to offer solutions that work and results that made happy customers.

Andre was born and raised in Osnabrück, Germany where he also earned his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Applied Sciences. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer.

In his spare time he enjoys being at the beach with friends and he likes to spend as much time as possible on hiking trips in the Desert Southwest, where he photographs amazing scenery during the golden hour.

While Andre is involved in most aspects of the business he mostly focuses on back-end programming and software architecture.

Fun Fact: Andre's favorite beer is Jever, a very hoppy (bitter) beer from the northern part of Germany.

Misty Beier

The internet boom happened around the time Misty got her first computer and immediately started designing web pages on Geocities and printed inserts for her mixed CD's without even knowing anything about graphic design.

Going on for 10 years now, Misty has showed her eye for good design and exceptional detail from the many influences she's soaked up from different cultures she's lived in. Misty has worked both web and graphic design jobs and still likes both equally.

Misty comes from the small town of Cullman, Alabama. Almost instantly after graduating from West Point High School and had just only one year of community college, her life forever changed by meeting Andre online in 2000, traveled and ended up living with him in Germany for 1½ years. Soon after that, Misty received her B.A. in Graphic Design at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Traveling, along with gardening, cooking, rock concerts, fossil hunting, hiking, and bicycle riding are just a smidgen of the hobbies Misty enjoys.

Design, front-end coding, and the other share of keeping the business in harmony are Misty's jobs.

Fun Fact: Misty still drives the same car she had in high school.
